This medicine lowers the raised blood pressure and thus reduces the pressure or workload on the heart, which further reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Inform your doctor if you recently had a heart attack or are suffering from heart failure. Take as suggested by the doctor based on the blood pressure range and severity of the condition and in doses and duration as prescribed. You can take this medicine with or without food. It would be best if you take Amlovas 5 at the same time every day to gain optimal benefits.
